It might be a bit like when you first got married. Exciting. Scarier than all get out. So much unknown mixed with EVERYBODY else’s idea of what you were getting into. Then you learned.

Think about it. In the beginning there is a pioneering spirit, mixed with blind ambition and a degree of certainty that you hoped would never falter. Then you learned.

Somewhere between crash-and-burn, get up and crash-and-burn again you learned to wear protective clothing, figured out where and how to avoid the fall-out and hopefully discovered how to celebrate when the sun was shining.

Regardless if your current partnership is your first, second, third or possibly more, there has likely been no bigger nor more impactful physical and emotional experience in your life. As it should be.

Amy Joy and I have been working to bring this event to life. Now, we are very carefully hand selecting couples who we believe are at the leading edge and whom are emotional pioneers who can embrace the 6 nights and seven days we have planned for you as if it is a new first. The Location: Oaxaca City

We could have picked from 100’s of locations across the globe. Oaxaca City became the front-runner for so many reasons: colorful, some of the finest culinary destinations in the Northern Hemisphere, home to ancient cultures that still thrive and a vortex of creative expression that can be both seen and felt. Plus, it’s super fun and we have reserved an entire 6 suite Hotel entirely for just us!

The Event: The Art of Partnership

The seven days and six nights will be transformational for both your mind and your body. Each day has been planned in great detail to shepherd you through a series of experiences that reveal, deepen and ignite your partnership into your most artistic and co-creative expression.

At the core of the work will be a new strategy for looking deep into your values, individually and as a couple. We know that the long-term success of any partnership has to do with shared, appreciated and honored values. Together we will lovingly expose what is in alignment with each person’s individual needs and desires and then find the junction of that expression that IS the beautiful and inspiring dance of your partnership. You will get to celebrate the acknowledgement of your greatest truths and desires.

There is only one life-force more powerful than forgiveness, that is love. Forgiveness and love will get a new framework that will literally shift every consideration you have for the actions, activities, aspirations and goals in your life. Imagine what it would be like if you were totally free to have and be exactly who you want to be, and to do that in partnership such that your joined creative forces propelled you forward with enthusiasm, sensual expression and blissful co-creation.

Breathe into that for a moment. When you can feel it tingling in your bones, then read on.

Ceremony is often underrated, mostly because it has been commercialized and socially influenced. We are going to venture into ceremonies that join your heart with spirit, with your mind, and each other. We have a sacred cacao ceremony and a deeply personalized and very unique fire ceremony planned for you. There may be a third experience if weather and time permits. You will have the experience of releasing fundamental “elements” into your awareness to become a new meme for connection. Celebration rings true throughout.

Creative Expression, exploration and problem solving are often left to our professional services and acumen. On this trip you will get to bring out the best of what you are capable of, individually and as a partnership team. This is going to happen in the form of as Treasure Hunt unlike any you’ve seen or heard of. It will be competitive, but not with each other. The competition is both within yourself and in the discovery of the combined talents of you and your partner. You’ll be pushed and teased to find (or possibly be reminded of) your personal best. It will be challenging, fun and will anchor-in the teachings and expressions of your entire retreat.

How does one immortalize an experience? As a former award-winning professional photographer, you might be able to guess Lawrence’s answer to this question. Yes, you are going to be taken on a professional photo shoot intended to capture the essence of your beauty, bond and expression with each other. And all of that in one of the most colorful cities on this planet!

Yumm Yumm, I want to get me some. We can only imagine where that statement took you. For us it means taking you into culture and origins, from the flower to the canvas and field to the table, for an opportunity to discover and prepare culinary expressions of your own. You will also get to see how many of the amazing works of the country’s finest artisans are created. Last time we were there, we could not resist returning home without some of the local artists’ creations. There is much to see. What you bring home is up to you.

The land is ancient with rich stories of creation, growth and perseverance. Imagine your relationship having a history with such description. We will be adventuring to the ancient ruins, monuments and heated waters to learn and possibly discover some of our own unique stories which are also rich and inspiring history.

With 106 collective years of experimentation in conscious relating and more than four decades of teaching, coaching and healing, we promise to share at least half of it with you — the gems and laughs for sure!
